The Strength of Women: A Poem Honoring Women on International Women’s Day

A woman

Before the noise of cities,

before the rush of ambition,

there is always a quiet strength

standing somewhere in the background

a woman.

She is the first voice

a child hears in the morning of life,

the first hand that teaches

how to hold hope

and how to rise after falling.

Her presence moves gently

through the rhythm of our days

in homes filled with patience,

in classrooms full of dreams,

in hospitals, offices, fields,

and every road where courage walks quietly.

Across cultures and continents

her story changes language,

but her strength remains the same.

In some lands she wears traditions

stitched with centuries of history.

In others she carries freedom

like a bright flag in the wind.

Different customs, different voices,

yet the same dignity shines within.

From the quiet villages of Asia

to the busy streets of Europe,

from deserts that hold ancient prayers

to cities that touch the clouds

women shape the heartbeat of humanity.

A mother’s sacrifice.

A sister’s encouragement.

A friend’s understanding.

A leader’s vision.

These are not small things.

They are foundations of the world.

Respect for women

is not simply a gesture of kindness

it is a recognition

of the life they carry within their strength.

A society reveals its soul

by how it treats its women.

Where women walk with dignity,

communities grow with wisdom.

Because a respected woman

does not stand alone

she lifts generations beside her.

International Women’s Day

is more than a celebration.

It is a reminder.

A reminder to listen

when women speak with courage.

A reminder to stand beside them

when justice calls for equality.

A reminder that respect

should not be reserved for one day

but practiced every day.

For women are not only

part of the story of humanity

they are the quiet authors

of its greatest chapters.

Their strength is not always loud,

yet it builds families,

strengthens communities,

and inspires the future.

So today, and every day,

let the world remember this simple truth:

Where women are honored,

hope grows stronger.

And where women are respected,

the world itself becomes

a kinder place to live.

so we are here celebrating our International Women's Day and we see that women still struggle to gain their rights. From the beginning we always considered women as an inferior being to the men. Biologically we think of that but it's not the biological only we psychologically consider them weak for no reason.Women deserve better. I mean at least they deserve equality almost in everything and every right and that's why we celebrate International Women's Day.

I think there are many feminist movements going on for equal rights to women. Really a woman is a masterpiece made by God and we should give them equal respect, opportunity, freedom, everything they deserve ; because they are half of the population of this world. Men and women both are incomplete without each other; that's how the energy of this life works . So,  cheers to all women for being a feminine energy. Thank you !

  1. I agree 100% . A women is a part of what God said as His own image and there is nothing in God that we could call a weakness or inferior from other attributes of Him...
